Look
at the date now! Do you know what it means? Yes! It means its almost the end of
our semester!! We have been through a lot in this semester. With all the new
course, new lecturer teaching us, dramas in the college, and many more that
make this semester interesting! So, do you want to hear about the critical
subject that I have been talk about? Yes the critical subject is Critical
Literacy!
We
have been learning the subject like a few weeks now, we have learn a lot of
things. It taught us how to think critically towards the article that we read.
During our study in school, we just taught to just understand the article on
the surface only. In this subject, it want us to dig deeper into the article to
get even more information. We have to learn to find hidden messages on the
article, why the writers write it that way and many more. It kind of hard at
first, but after we keep learning, we kind of get the gist of this course. All
we have to do to improve ourselves in this subject is by read a lot. Don’t take
it easy on this course if you want to pass it with good grades because it’s not
as easy as you think.
However,
the lecturer can help us improve our critical skill by giving more exercises
and do it together doing lecture time in class. So, with the activities we do
together, it will help us to understand better, even it is just a small bit of
understanding.
